The Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival promises to be an outstanding weekend of live blues music featuring Brian Setzer’s Rockabilly Riot and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.

With scenic views of the bay and sandy beaches located at the footsteps of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, you couldn’t ask for a more picturesque location.  The festival has been held at this stunning locale for 20 years, and the music and theme have not changed since it’s concept, bringing around the best of the best in the blues music scene.

The list of past-performers at The Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival is riveting, rivaling any festival in the country for quality of musicians.  This year’s festival continues with that tradition, spanning two days with guitar slinging, soulful blues music.  The Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival is gearing up for another fantastic year, with seasoned veterans who have been entrenched in the blues scene such as Keb’ Mo’ and Shemekia Copeland, to up and comers like Brandon ‘Taz’ Niederauer, a monster guitar player at the ripe young age of 14.

The music begins each day at 11:00, and jams right through the entire day with a variety of blues styles.  This has always been a well-organized music festival, and the proof is in the fact that many bands enjoy coming back.  So go equipped for any kind of weather, take your dancing shoes, your funky feet and be prepared to get your groove on.
