The Pacific Northwest’s most anticipated rock festival for 2015 will be headlined by Slipknot, Lamb of God, Three Days Grace, Bullet for My Valentine, and more.

Pain in the Grass began rocking PNW area fans in 2007. The first festival was headlined by Godsmack, Buckcherry, and Northwest natives Candlebox. KISW 99.9 “The Rock” have kept the festival coming back in varying forms ever since. Initially a single day festival, Pain in the Grass grew to two days. The festival also moved from the parking lot of Tacoma’s Cheney Stadium to Auburn’s White River Amphitheater.

Excited rock fans have high expectations for this event. After Mayhem Festival had a lackluster showing this year, die-hard metal heads are hopeful that the big name headliners will make up for Mayhem falling short. The 2015 festival is a single-day event that will feature two stages. Doors open at 1:00 p.m. The show will begin with Seattle-based band Ayron Jones & The Way at 1:50. The festival will kick off at 2:00.
