Whitesnake axeman Joel Hoekstra unveils details of the new album from his side project.

Whitesnake fans know Joel Hoekstra as the current guitarist for the band. In recent times, he has also worked with the likes of Night Ranger, Trans Siberian Orchestra and the show Rock of Ages. However on Friday October 16, Joel’s latest side project Joel Hoekstra’s 13 will take center stage with his new melodic hard-rock studio album Dying To Live via Frontiers Music SRL. The new album features a veritable group of rock musicians including Jeff Scott Soto (vocals), Russell Allen (vocals), Tony Franklin (bass), Vinny Appice (drums), Derek Sherinian (keyboard), and more. The multi-talented Hoekstra wrote, arranged, and produced the album songs.
