Insomnium is back from their stint with Dark Tranquillity for their first ever headlining tour in the United States.
Finnish melodic death metal group Insomnium brings Omnium Gatherum along for the ride as they tour North America this Summer/Fall season to support their latest album, Shadows of the Dying Sun. Heavy MTL Festival on August 9 in Montreal kicks off the tour with Slipknot, Faith No More, and others and lasts through September 7 in Quebec.
Niilo Sevanen of Insomnium says about the tour:
“We are very happy to return to North America so quickly! With each previous tour we have felt that we’ve clearly gone forward and gained new fans so now it’s the right time to bring a full headliner show across the Atlantic Ocean. We are very much looking forward to playing in Heavy MTL festival and that will be an awesome kickstart for the tour.
