The famed vocalist, guitarist, and flautist of classic rock band, Jethro Tull, is celebrating the life of their English agriculturalist namesake when he stops in Michigan Spring 2015 with his grand rock opera performance.

Rock artist Ian Anderson’s opera, Jethro Tull, celebrating the life of English agriculturalist returns to the US April 2016.

Written and performed by Anderson, the opera plans to bring the classic rock band Jethro Tull’s old set-list to the stage. The show will introduce eight new songs as well.

Anderson plans to take the show across the US throughout the month of April from Illinois to Georgia. The show will also be visiting the UK, Italy, Spain, and many more countries across the globe.

Jethro Tull is already receiving praise from the Philadelphia Inquirer and Blogcritic, claiming Anderson has “plenty of creative tricks up his sleeve” and calling the show “weirdly winning.”

The rock opera will stop in Grand Rapids at the Devos Performance Hall on April 09. Tickets will be available this Friday, Dec 04 on Ticket Master.
