Artery welcomes a new studio offering equipment not previously available to the area.

A new full-service recording studio in Sacramento, California opened its doors last week on Jan. 29, 2016 dubbed, “Gold Standard Sounds,” or GSS for short. Founder and owner Eric Rushing said the studio anticipates hosting some of today’s top rock and metal groups, as well as being open to the public.

Rushing said, “After 20 years in the music industry, I’m extremely excited to open a state of the art recording studio in my hometown.”

Rushing said the studio will house the only SSL console in town, making it an attraction on a local and national level. The studio features equipment to meet all the needs to produce high-quality sound while still keeping the spacious LA studio vibe. Their equipment includes a massive 48-channel mixing console and over 30 different types of microphones.

“Not only did I open this studio so that that bands could record music but I created a really cool environment for writing sessions, video sessions, and listening parties,” said Rushing.

Rushing said the GSS will be a great addition The Artery Foundation and Artery Recording’s business ventures while providing exclusive artistic opportunities to all who enter their doors. To book a session, head over to GSS’s website.
