As summer approaches and the temperatures begin to rise, so does the excitement surrounding the seventh annual Faster Horses Music Festival in Brooklyn, Michigan, on July 19 – 21.

Since it’s beginning in 2013, the event has grown from a three day music festival into the largest musical concert event in the entire state of Michigan, hosting over 40,000 country music fans each day. In the seven year existence, Faster Horses Music Festival has become known as the three day Party Of The Summer with an array of top headlining country music artists performing over the three day weekend.

Last month, the Academy of Country Music (ACM) awarded the Faster Horses Music Festival as their 2019 Festival Of The Year, while just last week, the village of Brooklyn voted to the honorary renaming of their village as Faster Horses, MI from July 18 to July 21.

The 2019 version of Faster Horses will see Keith Urban, Toby Keith and Zac Brown Band as headliners on their respective evenings. Other top national artists appearing on the main stage include Maren Morris, Brett Young, Lanco, Lindsay Ell, Old Dominion, Randy Houser, Mitchell Tenpenny, Danielle Bradberry, Brothers Osbourne, Kip Moore, Michael Ray and Cassadee Pope.

The Dish Presents Next To Nashville stage is for up and coming artists looking for the opportunity to showcase to a large scale crowd. Some of this year’s newcomers are Ross Ellis, Travis Denning, Waterloo Revival, Rachel Wammack, Davisson Brothers Band, Dillion Carmichael, Hardy, Kassi Ashton and Caylee Hammack.

Along with the music entertainment on the two separate stages, the weekend is filled with other attractions to help keep the attendees fulfilled. A large ferris wheel lets you oversee all activities on the grounds from up above, while the water slide allows you a chance to cool down from the hot summer days. A vertigo swing attracts the adventure seeking individuals while the foam party is a sure way to make new friends. For car enthusiasts, the Hustle & Muscle Car Show will get the ponies running while the health fitness seekers have the opportunity to compete in the Faster Humans Fun Run around the 2 mile oval that helps raise funds for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The three-day camping and music festival will once again be spread across the open fields and properties of NASCAR’s Michigan International Speedway. Located on the grounds are numerous types of camping available with fully-accommodated sites to all out rustic camping.

While the popularity of Faster Horses Music Festival continues to grow, festival tickets and campsites begin to be harder to come by as the festival sells out and campsites fill up.
