The solo artist and guitarist for Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne launched his music equipment brand, Wylde Audio.

Zakk Wylde’s company, Wylde Audio, has entered a partnership deal with Schecter Guitar Research. Schecter will distribute the Wylde Audio brand worldwide via its distributor network in 70+ countries.

“I’m very excited for the launch of Wylde Audio in 2016,” Zakk Wylde said. “For me, it’s the next logical step. You start as a player, manager, VP of team operations, then team owner. I’ve surrounded myself with super talented people to make this vision become a reality and having Schecter on board as our distributor is going to allow me to bring Wylde Audio’s boutique quality of craftsmanship to the next level.”

According to Schecter Guitar Research executive vice-president Marc LaCorte, Schecter is proud to be a partner to Zakk Wylde and his line of guitars.

Zakk Wylde is on the road in North America with the The Generation Axe tour that has Wylde along with Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), and Tosin Abasi (Animals As Leaders) on tour together. The tour runs into next month with the last date being Providence, Rhode Island on May 08.

While this tour has proven popular, tickets may still be available for Zakk Wylde and the Generation Axe tour.
