Seventeen-year-old guitar prodigy Quinn Sullivan let’s loose a brand new track from his forthcoming album.

Although still a teenager Quinn Sullivan has already achieved a lot for his young age. He has shared the stage with the likes of Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, and his mentor Buddy Guy to name but a few, as well as having performed at some of the most impressive theatres in the world including Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl.

Sullivan caught the eye of his hero Buddy Guy at the age of eight, and the pair has subsequently toured the world together. So the story goes, Sullivan’s father arranged for him to meet his idol when Guy came to his hometown, where of course Sullivan asked Buddy to autograph his guitar. Of course, Buddy obliged, although on one condition – that he played it for him. The result of which was Buddy Guy inviting Sullivan to join him onstage that evening, and so a beautiful friendship was born.

Midnight Highway is Sullivan’s third studio album and was produced by Grammy Award winning drummer/producer Tom Hambridge. The album was recorded primarily at Nashville’s prestigious Blackbird Studio and features the likes of the legendary keyboard player and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Reese Wynans of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Double Trouble, bassists Michael Rhodes and Tom Macdonald and guitarist Rob McNelley.

Speaking of the title track Sullivan states that Midnight Highway is a song that takes you on a journey from start to finish. The song was written and produced by the great Tom Hambridge and the idea of the song fits perfectly into what my life is like at the moment. I immediately fell in love with the song because I related to the message that it sends out, which is the fact that no matter what, you have to keep moving and growing on whatever path you choose to take.”

Quinn Sullivan’s forthcoming album Midnight Highway will be released via Mascot Label Group / Provogue on March 24th.
