Northern Irish singer/songwriter Ryan McMullan is fast making many fans and friends during his first major tour supporting Foy Vance.

Ryan McMullan has been raising some eyebrows whilst opening for Foy Vance on the UK and European legs of his The Wild Swan Tour. It’s easy to see why this is the case – with Ryan’s musicianship he is comfortable both on the guitar and keyboard, he has a huge classic rock voice, and a humble, mature outlook. Young McMullan has a huge musical future ahead of him.

National Rock Review recently caught up with Ryan McMullan whilst supporting Foy Vance at the Oran Mor in Glasgow, Scotland to talk about touring, his musical influences and his plans for the future. The setting was the busy but beautiful main bar and restaurant in the iconic Glasgow music venue. Listen to the audio interview below.

Hailing from Northern Ireland and living in Glasgow, Scotland, I have been a lover of a wide range of different music for many many years. With a passion for photography I love combining writing about great music, with shooting great images of bands or artists, capturing the mood, atmosphere and painting an accurate picture of a gig for those who weren't there.
