Lou Demontis returns to London for a one off intimate gig.

The Gilets Jaunes might be rioting on the streets, but one French resident still knows how to put on a show.

After a career spanning over four decades, Lou Demontis knows how to treat an audience. And the exclusive audience at Earls Court’s Troubadour were no exception.

Following captivating acoustic sets from supports, singer/songwriters Kieron Michael Heavens, more used to being heard as the guitarist of up and coming rockers At The Sun, and Diana DeMuth, just arrived from Boston MA, Lou Demontis upped the tempo from the moment his trio plugged in their electric guitars and set about rocking the joint.

Their set list blistered with Lou’s finest blend of blues n’ rock including the new single “Everywhere I Go”, mixed with choice cuts from rock’s most golden of ages. All in all, it was a cocktail that earned Lou and his band a place among the ranks of The Troubadour’s illustrious list of performers.

The band closed the show with a raw rendition of Neil Young’s classic, Rockin’ in the Free World. And with that song, Lou Demontis sent a message to his fellow Frenchmen and Corsicans and the rest of us: that no matter what direction our world is going in, there will always be a place for rock n’ roll and Lou will playing it.

Lou Demontis, keep on rockin’ our world.
